You now see the first screen of the driver installer. Click the Run button to run the installer (pictured below with arrow). You now see a Windows dialog asking what you want to do. Double click the software driver installer application file to open the installer (pictured below with arrow). You now see a Windows folder open with two files. You will see the driver file downloaded through your browser in the way your browser typically downloads files from websites (pictured below with arrow). Click the blue download icon on the row that displays the current driver for Windows 10 (pictured below with arrow pointing right). Under these options, you will now see a list of software drivers available for Windows. In the Type column, click the "Drivers" option.
Following are instructions on how to: (1) download the latest/greatest version of the software driver for your UMC202HD, and yes it's important that you use the latest version of the driver software and (2) install the software driver on your Windows computer.
